Curt Johnson is a software developer and computer programmer partly responsible for creating Windows Minesweeper. He started work at Microsoft in 1989 and as a hobby had written a game for OS/2 where the object was to find a path across a minefield. A work colleague, Robert Donner, expressed an interest in writing his own game and Curt gave him the source code.

According to his profile, Curt is a senior software developer with over 15 years of experience with C++, C# and .NET. He specializes in application development and currently works as a freelance contractor.
