MSWCH 2015 Signup

Post by Tommy »

Hi all,

If you're interested in taking part, please reply here (or write me an Email to thomaskolar90 a_t gmail dot com) with the following data:

Name:
Email Address:
Will you have to pay for travel to Vienna?
Will you need accommodation?

This is important because I need to know how to allocate the funding I got for travel and accommodation costs. Your data will not be published if you send it to me personally (otherwise, it's here on the forum, obviously).

I will probably make a more official sign-up form later, but if you post here, you won't have to enter it there again.

Unnofficial List of People Competing in Vienna (there will also be an online tournament):

#1 Kamil Muranski (Poland #1) - Confirmed
#5 Thomas Kolar (Austria #1) - Confirmed
#13 Damien Moore (Canada #1) - Confirmed
#27 Robert Royals (England #2) - Confirmed
#58 David Greer (England #4) - Confirmed
#137 Eduard Cros (Spain #1) - Confirmed

#57 Michael Dunlop (UK #3) - Pending
#259 Andrey Deviatkin (Russia #17) - Pending
#338 Gergely Nagy (Hungary #5) - Pending
Daniel Hagenmaier (Germany #11) - Pending
Corinna Riebe (Austria) - Pending
Jakob Kogler (Austria) - Pending

You can also sign-up on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/871004959641104

Hi Tommy, I plan to come. My sweeping skills are terrible, but there is time to practice.

You already have my email address, I'll be flying in, and will be looking for accomodation for the Friday/Saturday and possibly Sunday night. Would be great if we all end up staying near the same place, so I won't book a hotel yet. Email me if you need any help, I'll need to post something on the site.

Yeah, I'm going to find a good hostel and recommend it in the next couple of days. Email is sent ;-)

I should be attending. It would be nice to have three sweepers from the UK, me, David and Mr Dunlop. :) Oh and a 4th if we count Damien :D

Looks like I won't be able to come to this after all. Really disappointing, but I'm starting a new job soon and it doesn't seem practically possible. I'll play along online if I can.

There we go, my sign-up is official. :D

Thanks to TKs early decision on the date I was able to jump at all the right opportunities! I'm actually going to be attending a summer school in Germany the second week of October, which coincidentally lands me in the vicinity right around the time of the tournament. This bit of fortune means that I only need to keep myself busy for two weeks in Austria. I should be able to manage that :D.

Anyhow, see you guys soon!

Ha, awesome that you'll make it! And I thought I'd published it too late for you. A very pleasant surprise :D
