Hi all -- I'm looking for a Linux or web-based version of Minesweeper version that allows you to do ctrl-click to sweep a square (like the Windows version allows as an alternative to click both mouse buttons). Though I do NF, this is my preferred way to play when not playing NF.
Alternatively, I'd be happy with a good Open Source version that I could modify to allow that. Gnomines is OS but you have to sign up as a Gnome developer, etc. I had thought that freesweeper (which I can install through Ubuntu Software Center) would be OS but can't find any sort of project information on it. Unless it's "freesweep" under Google Code?

Re: Seeking version that allows ctrl-click to sweep
I assume you mean shift-click? Of the 'official' clones, only MSX supports that. (On Linux you have to use WINE to run it, however.)
You're in luck about freesweeper, though. I don't know if Cryslon saw your post but less than 2 days later your concerns were addressed!
