Need help getting out of corner

Post by XtraCrispy »

Hello

I havn't seen a section for "help" posts so, I will add this here and maybe you can move it if you want.

This is what i need help with, cannot find any clue. Quite a long time ago since i've been this stuck.
I use a controversial program with a "startup" mode which means it gives me some squares and flags to start off with, preventing the board to have any guesses.
Thats why I have some odd placed open squares and a odd placed flag(the flag in the outermost right row is correct).
As for the other flags have been placed by me and may be wrong, but I havn't seen any wrongly placed flag either.

rows from top are numbered 1, 2, 3 etc
columns from right are numbered 1, 2, 3 etc
row/column

12/12 is a "1" that touches only 2 closed squares
12/13 is also a "1" that touches the same 2 squares as 12/12 but also 3 more closed squares.
since one of the squares adjacent to 12/12 has to be a mine, 11/14, 12/14 and 13/14 have to be safe.

This pattern is usually called the '1-in-a-hole'...

Incidentally, I'm not quite sure what that flag over in the far right side of the screen is doing.

That flag is there because OP uses a strange version of MS that gives you "starting clues" and obviously that flags was part of those clues.
