At the moment there are no tournaments planned for 2009...what do you think about a tournament in Scotland this summer?
It would be in Stirling (small train ride from Glasgow or Edinburgh). Probably in June.
I am waiting for an answer from university about booking the computer rooms.
I wrote the best UK players yesterday...so far David Greer and Rupert McKay said they will come.
I think Rogen will have another Moscow tournament in November or December 2009, but Christoph and Gergely are quiet so far.

Damien, if possible please shortly describe major sights to visit. I'm sure that Glazgow and Edinburg have lots of them.
I'm not sure that I'll come, but trip Glazgow-Stirling-Edinburg sounds interesting. One minus for me - no direct flights from Moscow to Scotland

Well, I think in Vienna Gergely talked about the possible tournament in Hungary this year. We should see what he thinks of it now.
Re: Possible UK 2009 Tournament
This sounds really promising Damien . June in Scotland would be great, I just checked with Ryanair and it flies to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, so I could in theory make a real Glasgow-Stirling-Edinburgh journey landing at one of them and departing from the other.
The only minus with the UK is that I (and others like me) need a Visa and they can be quite hard to get... the last time i applied for one (for a couple of weeks training at repairing electronic devices we were importing from there to Albania at the company i was working at the time) I was refused one with the motivation "You are single and have no clear plans for the future." (I was 19 ffs!!!) I have a feeling it won't be so difficult to get one this time but I doubt people like AreOut would make it

Re: Possible UK 2009 Tournament
I think the date will be 20th June 2009.
Still waiting for permission for computers...
Accomodation:
-We can have 20 rooms at the University for £19 a night
-Or we can have 18 people in one big room at a hostel downtown for £17 a night
I plan to book rooms in advance so we can stay together, and people can pay me later.
Rogen and Joni: the Visa application (VAF1A application, http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/vafs/) does not need you to book your own rooms if you say you are staying with me. I have to write you a letter and give you the number of my Residence Visa.
