Tournaments	2008 Oct 25	46 players competed to qualify for the Budapest Minesweeper Open at the Microsoft Game Show. Using a time trial system, Thomas Kolar (Austria) came first after defeating Christoph Nikolaus (Austria) in the final. In the bronze match, Vodila Gergely (Hungary) defeated Borsi Attila (Hungary) for 3rd place. The final was held in front of a large audience on the main stage and prizes were awarded.
History	2008 Oct 23	Kamil Muranski (Poland) gets 8s on intermediate, on a famous Winmine board. Record is not official (3bv=29 and Winmine no longer allowed for the World Ranking).
World Record	2008 Oct 15	Tian Yi Fang (China) makes 10.79 on Intermediate but the 3bv=26 so the record is not official. (He used Clone97 which does not have official 3bv limits).
